JAG's Trevor Goddard played Kano in 1995's Mortal Kombat. An arms dealer with a cybernetic heart, Kano is a killer through and through. Josh Lawson as Kano Australia's Josh Lawson (House of Lies) is Kano - the merciless mercenary leader of crime cartel The Black Dragon. Previously, Sub-Zero was played by Francois Petit and Keith Cooke. Play Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero Renowned martial artist, and James Wan player, Joe Taslim (The Raid, Fast & Furious 6, The Night Comes for Us) slips into the glacial gear of Sub-Zero, one of the franchise's most icily iconic characters. Robin Shou played Kang in both '90s Mortal Kombat movies. As the main character for most incarnations and stories within the Mortal Kombat franchise, Liu Kang is the nemesis of inter-dimensional sorcerer Shang Tsung. Ludi Lin as Liu Kang Ludi Lin, who you can catch in the 2017 Power Rangers film and in the Black Mirror episode "Striking Vipers," plays central hero Liu Kang, one of Earth's most powerful and capable warriors. Mileena was previously played by Dana Hee in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Sisi Stringer as Mileena Newcomer Sisi Stringer plays Mileena, the evil clone of Kitana who wishes nothing more than to slay her "sister." Hiroyuki Sanada (Lost, Westworld, Avengers: Endgame) plays the hell-bound ninja Hanzo Hasashi - aka Scorpion - who's determined to seek revenge with his sharp Kunai-tipped chains. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa played Shang Tsung in the 1995 film. Chin Han as Shang Tsung Chin Han (The Dark Knight, Marco Polo) plays ultimate Mortal Kombat baddie, Liu Kang's arch-nemesis, and soul-sucking warlock Shang Tsung. Previously, Jax was played by Gregory McKinney and Lynn Williams in the two live-action films from the '90s. Mehcad Brooks as Jackson “Jax” Briggs Mehcad Brooks, known for his roles in Desperate Housewives, The Game, and Supergirl, plays Super Soldier Jax Briggs, a Special Forces officer with cybernetically-enhanced arms and a steely (get it?) nature.
